Good start

Marketlab had a nice start to their season with a 7-5 win.  A game where we would nab the early 3-1 lead in the first, but give up 4 goals in the second period to go down by 2, and then rebound with a good 3rd period and win by 2.  It was a see-saw battle, but one we came out on top with.  Its early in the season, but a good start like this really helps matters.

I played average again, but I was also hobbled by a lower back strain that was really just killing me at times.  My team played very solid in front of me really limiting their quality scoring chances.  I was probably playing about 75% of my full capacity though.

After that game, I went home, ate, and then crashed early.  When I woke up Friday morning, I had zero back pain.  I have to wonder if it was some kind of pinched nerve or something instead of a strain.  Either way, it was good to feel 100% better for my vacation.

My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary today in Chicago.  Tomorrow we start hitting all the museums and the aquarium, and then get back here for a nice nap and then hitting the Jimmy Buffett concert in the evening.  I should get some sleep soon in preparation for what lies ahead.
