Its good to see the NHL back on the ice for another season.
After a long summer, and missing out on most of the preseason games, and most of the action in London for the first two regular season games, I got a chance to see the Wings on Wednesday. Great to see them get off to a winning start.
Then I caught most of the action on my Center Ice package last night. With games on every night, that package pays for itself.
After a few bad weeks of rollerhockey games, I am starting to hit my stride again. Dekleine lost again on Wednesday, but for the first time in weeks, it wasn’t my fault alone. I came up with some good saves, had one really bad goal, but I thought I played very well. My confidence stayed very high even after that bad goal and that is a very good step in the right direction.
I am feeling a lot better about myself and my goaltending which is a heck of a lot better than I felt a few weeks ago.
In other news, my ice hockey team is in limbo. After destroying the last two teams we played, we asked to be moved up to the next division. If they can’t move us up, then we might have to shed talent to stay in our current division. I don’t know what is going to happen as the league scheduler was going to ask teams in the upper division about moving a weaker team down and moving us up. Don’t know if that will happen though. Which puts my team in a state of flux. Its my hope that we can stay together in the upper division. I guess we will wait and see.
