You would think I would learn

The last few days have been rough in the sleeping department. I haven’t gotten much of it and today I am just not doing so well. The night before, I tossed and turned most of the night. I finally got up and just went to work. When I got home, instead of sleeping, I ate and then played hockey. I played well in a 6-1 victory, which is suprising being as that I had maybe 4 hours of sleep that night. Last night I didn’t fall asleep until around 2am and that didn’t help matters. I am still tired today and will be until I catch up. None of that tonight though.

I got a call on Wednesday from a representative of the Grand Rapids Griffins asking if I would be interested in playing in the Red Wings Alumni game. The cost of the game is a little expensive, but I will have tickets to sell to get a little of the money back. There are a lot of benefits to playing such as practice sessions, a jersey, photos with all the players, a couple dinners, and so on. It is a fantastic opportunity to say the least. There is part of me that is nervous about doing it.

Tonight I have two games to play. One at 7:00pm and the other at 11:15pm (yikes!). Those late ice hockey games are always tough on me. More to come later!
